“I like to bash cars and watch the parts come off.”

Crash and Bash

Crash and Bash is a table-top action game for 8 and up by Louis Galoob Toys. It was designed to provide an environment for young boys who like to assemble cars and smash them up. The game consisted of an arena featuring pit stops with built-in remote controls for two quick to assemble trucks. The game system had a unique feature: the truck chassis was designed with a special mechanism that detects the presence of six body parts allowing the truck to run till all body parts have been knocked off.

Players first assemble their vehicle in the pitstop with snap-on body parts.  As gameplay begins, each contestant would attempt to smash into the other vehicle and knock off their opponent’s parts. Once all parts fall off, the truck will stall. The player whose vehicle was running with at least one body part remaining would win the round.
