“It’s fun to watch a robot do what I tell it to do. I wish that would work with my brother.”
Code Play
An after-school program for children 8 and up.
An educational program first introduced at the Woodstock Library Fair 2017, highlights the principles behind basic programming using toys and games. Children play with pattern recognition, puzzles, and simple coding games to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving. Advanced sessions featured Scratch, a block-based programming language and building simple programmable robots like the Sphero SPRK+, Ozobot and Lego Mindstorms.
